....Okay seriously, this rule needs to be altered slightly or something. A lot of us has been there with hacking consoles just to mess around with modding. Of course there are those people that use it for piracy and cheating (which is ruining it for the rest of us in general), but not everybody that hacks their Switch is bad.
I've finally decided to do it myself, actually....Reason? ONLY to have custom music in Smash Ultimate...that's it, not joking. I'm having fun with it.
I guess this thread will be locked, I'll be de-modded, and possibly banned now since I've talked about it.
Soooo, NL staff writing articles on Switch modding is totally fine? What?
You get my point, we should AT LEAST be able to talk about them in the forums, we still wouldn't share links, talk about on HOW to hack the system or install crap that's needed. We also would still not be allowed to talk about hacks/mods that are for pirating or cheating.

Keep it PG-13-ish.
@Mr-Fuggles777 Yes the Switch do not support mods but still other consoles support them. If they are NOT for sale or monetized in any way I see no reason to be hostile against mods.
@Joeynator3000 Problem is though you can't so no to people hacking a Switch for nefarious means and then allow someone like you to be allowed to post hacking the Switch.

@Joeynator3000 so... it's about not opening up a can of worms and giving the already difficult job of moderation even more workload.
Having articles means that specific nuggets of information can be discussed and has been through our editorial process, simply allowing any user to talk about any mod-related subject on the forums is not something easily controlled, as you know as well as I do.
As you mention the article isn't talking about /how/ just showing an outcome. In that respect, threads just showing the outcomes, in theory, would be fine. However it's more than likely they will quickly become threads about the /how/ and /where/ and /what/ one needs... and then a blurred line towards piracy.
