2011 is gone. After announcing our Game of the Year 2011 awards we're ready to move on and sink our teeth into all that awaits in 2012.
There are of course dozens more games on the way to 3DS in the coming year, but we've picked ten of the most exciting due to crest the 3D horizon before 2013 rolls around.
If we've missed your most-anticipated title, let us know in the comments at the bottom.

Resident Evil Revelations
Release: 27th January (Europe), 7th February (North America)
A brand new instalment in the long-running series, Revelations is 3DS-exclusive and boasts some of the best graphics we've seen on 3DS yet. Not only does it feature a brand new story and new characters, its post-completion co-operative RAID mode is playable over the Internet too.
It's also the first game in the West to be compatible with Nintendo's Circle Pad Pro attachment, which adds a second Circle Pad to the 3DS. The accessory will come in a bundle as well as being sold separately.
A new Resident Evil is always cause for celebration, and this is shaping up very nicely, as our most recent Resident Evil: Revelations preview shows.

Kid Icarus: Uprising
Release: 23rd March (North America), TBC (Europe)
What should have been a "launch window" title for 3DS is finally due to land nearly one year after the console it helped announce.
Project Sora has used the time to introduce local and online multiplayer and fancy augmented reality features, but we hope it's also fixed some of the control issues we encountered during our Kid Icarus: Uprising preview in July last year.
Either way, it's just good to see Pit back in action.

Metal Gear Solid: Snake Eater 3D
Release: Q1 2012
Snake's been characteristically stealthy lately; while Nintendo crowed about the game at last year's big events, Konami's upcoming PS2 port has adopted near radio silence recently, though there's plenty we know.
The game will use first-person and third-person perspectives, with other features making better use of the 3DS console's unique functions: snapping a photo lets you use it as camouflage, with gyro controls used to control Snake at key moments.
In our last run-in with the game we came away very impressed: read our Metal Gear Solid: Snake Eater 3D preview for more.

Paper Mario
Release: TBC
Ahh, Paper Mario. We've wanted to hold you ever since we first laid eyes on you. We saw you running in 3D at Amsterdam's 3DS media event a year ago and our desire for you only grew, yet you refuse to take our money by not being available to buy yet.
We don't even know that much about each other. You're a new entry in the flat Mario series that dates back to the Nintendo 64, but what are you all about? We saw you in the E3 2011 trailer, but you didn't return our longing looks.
Please, please – come visit us this year. Maybe in October, when the leaves are falling off the trees. That would be nice.

Heroes of Ruin
Release: Spring
Plenty of 3DS games miss out on online multiplayer despite the system's advanced features, so when a title comes along that embraces online communication so completely it's time to take notice.
Heroes of Ruin is an action-adventure game built on Internet capabilities: up to four can quest together, with developer n-Space promising "seamless" connectivity, 80,000 dynamically generated items and pleasingly in-depth character customisation.
We loved what we saw when we played the game for our Heroes of Ruin preview back in July, and if n-Space can build on that strong start it has a potential hit on its hands.

Luigi's Mansion 2
Release: TBC
Everyone's favourite scaredy-cat sidekick foolishly visits another haunted mansion.
Luigi's Mansion 2 — developed by Next Level Games — is a follow-up to 2001's GameCube original, with some new twists. Environment interaction is a big focus now, with the Poltergust's abilities upgraded to play a part in new puzzle-solving sections too.
Despite some confusion over the game's rumoured two-player mode — sadly debunked, leaving Luigi's Mansion 2 a strictly solo pursuit — it's certainly shaping up to be a treat. We played it back at E3, so check out our Luigi's Mansion 2 preview for the lowdown.

Monster Hunter 3 G
Release: TBA
OK, this is straight-up wishful thinking: Capcom has said nothing about a western release for MH3G, its enhanced version of second-to-none Wii timesink Monster Hunter 3 (~Tri), but that doesn't mean it's not one of our most wanted 3DS games of 2012.
With new monsters, weapons, armours and areas added to 2010's Wii outing, all MH3G is missing is online multiplayer and an English language release, both things we'd love Capcom to rectify in 2012.
Failing that, we'd settle for a pre-Christmas release for Monster Hunter 4 instead.

Rhythm Thief and the Emperor's Treasure
Release: TBC
A rhythm action game that features mini games based on Samba de Amigo and Space Channel 5? In the industry that's known as a "win".
SEGA's quirky rhythm game blends Elite Beat Agents' sense of style with a taste of the British Isles, and could be one of the more unique titles released for 3DS in 2012.
Its title also contains all our favourite words, except maybe "animal".

Animal Crossing
Release: TBC
Animal Crossing is like Tetris: addictive, barely changing and near-perfect.
The 3DS version makes small changes that seem gigantic compared to previous outings — you can take on the role of mayor, customise your furniture and even decorate outside — but it's the enhanced communication features that will hopefully finally create the ultimate AC experience.
If not, at least there'll be K.K. Slider in 3D.

Professor Layton and the Mask of Miracle
Release: TBC
Already available in Japan for nearly a whole year, the rest of the world gets to catch up with Layton and Luke's adventures later this year.
While there's no official western title for it yet — Nintendo's simply calling it Professor Layton 5 for now — we know it revolves around a magical mask that grants wishes. A bad chap is using it to turn innocent folk to stone, and the brainy bunch must put an end to it. Naturally that entails lots of puzzles about moving matchsticks and so on, but all in full 3D.
It's not the only dose of mind-bending mentalism from the brain box professor: we should see much more of Professor Layton vs. Phoenix Wright this year, too.
Have Your Say
Think we should have included your favourite game instead of our — non-sequential, it must be said — choices? Sound off in the comments below.

You forgot Terry's Wonderland. :3
At least thats my most wanted 3DS title now..might not even get over here in 2012. D:
But I'm also very excited for Paper Mario, Animal Crossing, Luigi's Mansion and Heroes of Ruin.
Hope they release a Kirby 3D. But I want Luigi's Mansion 2 now. The picture of the mask of miracle is the picture of the last specter. so, it's wrong....
Bravely default?
Kingdom hearts 3ds?
^Both TBA, and by S-E, which means we'll be lucky if they don't take 5 years to release.
Tales of the Abyss 3D
Paper Mario 3D
Is all I care about for this year.
Looking forward a lot of them, and hopefully I can afford buy them.
Professor Layton vs. Ace Attorney?
You left out kingdom Hearts.
But yeah I hope something is said soon on Tri G, want that game so much. >.>
Also need more info on Paper Mario.
There better be an F-Zero out there, waiting to go all 3D on us...
I'm gonna get at least Paper Mario, Luigi's Mansion 2 and KH:DDD.
@Mickeymac: KH has Japanese release date already, March 2012. I'm pretty sure it's going to be released this year in US and EU too. Hopefully.
looking forward to all of these- it looks as if this will be a great year for the 3DS and its owners.
you also left out tekken 3d. that looks like it is going to be the best fighting game on the console or has the potential to be the best 3DS fighting game.
"Pilotwings Resort team Next Level Games"
What? MONSTER Games did develop Pilotwings Resort. The ones from Excitebike World Rally and Excitebots. Next Level Games only did crappy games such as Mario Strikers. Both studios are pretty different, quality-wise. That's why I'm afraid of what will become of LM2.
@Mickeymac: SE recently announced KH3D would get a 2012 release.
You forgot Tekken 3D, out next month!
I know they aren't blockbusters, but I'm also excited about Myst and Rollercoaster Tycoon.
Paper Mario and Luigi's Mansion are pretty much the main reasons I bought the 3DS.
can't animal crossing! as mayor i will make it my duty to open a KFC in my town with the help of my delicious chicken residents
I'm trying to get excited about these games, but can't. But to each their own, I'm glad that you all like this list.
Kingdom Hearts: Dream Drop Distance is not on the list?
@Mickeymac- According to Square Enix, KH: DDD will be out in Japan, North America, and Europe in 2012.
Oh yeah. Forgot Tekken.
You put in Kid Icarus though so it's alright.
Kid Icarus will get game of year!
Animal Crossing is the game I want the most! I wish Nintendo would tell us the release date already. I'm just hoping against hope that its not going to be a Fall or winter release. Ugh. I want the title out by May at the earliest (actually I wish it was out now...but thats not going to happen...) and July at the latest. sigh
Also looking forward to Paper Mario a lot. Another game I wish Nintendo would tell us about already!
Resident Evil, Monster Hunter 3G and Heroes of Ruin for me. MH3G coming out this year... doubt that'll happen ;(
Mario Tennis.
Mutant Mudds.
You know what I'm waiting for? Nano Assault to come out in Europe!
Kid Icarus, Luigi's Mansion, and Paper Mario are all I care about. However, that Heroes of Ruin sounds pretty fun.
How's about Rayman Origins? I'm terrified that it may get canned due to poor software sales on the consoles
This list doesn't do much for me, honestly. I am most looking forward to MUTANT MUDDS right now. How about a release date JOOLS?
There can be only Monster Hunter =). Still, Heroes of Ruin looks amazing.
Nothing but wishful thinking, but a 3DS Metroid would be nice.
I got the 3DS for Animal Crossing. Gamestop said it was going to be out in August 2011. I've learned not to trust Gamestop.
The LM2 team made Pilotwings Resort? That actually has me a bit worried about LM2. They might have more time but Pilotwings Resort was the worst Nintendo published game I've ever played. It was lazy at every turn. Slow Superman 64 style gameplay, timed "free" mode, a horrid camera, no shooting in free mode, boring gameplay and no multiplayer. It made a wii sports resort game worse and sold it for $40. Still, LM2 looks good so far.
Nintendo, make Kirby's Air Ride 2.
DOOO IEEEEEEEEETTTTT!
Also KI:Uprising looks amazing.
Resident Evil Revelations is going to be awesome. I can just tell.
I think the list looks great. Cant wait.
And a 3DS Metroid would be amazing
You forgot Tekken... I will buy this game.
As for the games mentioned they are a good line-up. The only game that really appeals to me and will buy is the Layton one. I could also get Metal Gear if it wasn't for the better HD collection.
As for other games I' d also want to see a new Ace Attorney game.
@Geonjaha
I also want this game, I liked the original game.
Great list nd there's one or two others you could add.
Pre-ordered Paper Mario, Tekken Prime Ed., Luigi's Mansion 2, Prof Layton MoM and I'll probably get Kid Icarus Uprising. May wait for Crush 3D to go down in price. I'll definately get Prof Layton vs Pheonix Wright. Not sure about Mario&Sonic London Olympics 3DS.
By the way Nintendo Gamer magazine (formerly called NGamer) gave Resi Evil Revelations 90%. They hardly give games 90 or over. The new mag design looks fab too.
Great list
only thing its missing is kingdom hearts
infact I am highly anticipating every game on the list(except metal gear I am going to get metal gear collection for the Vita)
That's $400 of games I plan on getting. Daaaang.
@Drezus Mario Strikers is an amazing game.
Paper Mario is the number 1 reason I got a 3DS for. Of course, I got Animal Crossing and Kid Icarus: Uprising on my radar too, but not as much frequency as PM. I know this game is not on the list, but I want Smash Bros 3DS, which probably won't be heard of until Q4 2012 or in 2013
Pokemon Grey, Rangers 4, Pokemon X Nobunaga's Ambition, Pokemon Crimson Ruby, Pokemon Marine Saphire, etc.
Professor Layton vs Ace Attorney, anyone?
My list of preference is Luigi's Mansion 2, Paper Mario, Animal Crossing, and Kid Icarus. Resident Evil would be nice too, but it's lower on the list than these.
Rhythm Thief & Professor Layton...
...but I really wish I was more excited about the upcoming lineup. This last year (Zelda, Mario, Mario Kart) was great! It seems unlikely there will be an encore, which reminds me of the Wii, which released, in a 18 month period EVERY major franchise (Zelda, Mario Galaxy, Metroid 3, Smash Bros., Mario Kart, Wii Sports, Wii Fit, Mario Party, Super Paper Mario, ExciteTruck and more!) only to have nothing left in the tank for the next 36 months (ok, not exactly nothing, but if you want to see why the Wii excitement died, look at the releases from the first 18 months vs. the last 36!).
Anyway, I'm not really feeling this list. I'm excited for Mutant Mudds.
I hope we get a Rune Factory title.
...and I'm excited for the 2 titles I mentioned at the beginning, but I expect with the WiiU launch, that it's going to be a tough year for great 3DS content. I'm glad I'm saving Mario 3D Land until after I finish Zelda: SS .
I can't wait to play Metal Gear on my 3DS, and i really hope Monster Hunter gets released in NA. Heroes of ruins also caught my attention.
Kingdom Hearts is rubbish.
There, I said it.
I heard rumors of a metroid 3DS game, as aHGE fan of the series I want it NOW!!! and any news about Pikmin 3D?
Animal crossing 3DS is my most anticipated game of 2012 and other 3DS games coming out this year that I'd like to get (I may not get many of these this year though) are Resident evil: Revelations, Kid Icarus: Uprising, Paper Mario 3DS, Rhythm thief and the emperor's treasure, Nano assault, Professr Layton and the mask of miracle, Luigi's mansion 2 and if they do come out this year Professor Layton vs. Ace attorney, Bravely default: flying fairy and Code of princess.
Resident Evil Revelations
Kid Icarus: Uprising
Paper Mario
Heroes of Ruin
Luigi's Mansion 2
Monster Hunter 4
Animal Crossing
all day freaking one purchase for me from that list of course
My most anticipated game is probably Revelations, followed by Dynasty Warriors VS (provided it actually gets released here). I've always been a big DW fan, so even though I enjoyed Samurai Warriors: Chronicles, I would definitely prefer to have more of that style of play within the DW universe. The Japanese version comes out in March, so hopefully a NA version will be out by the end of the year.
want ever thing but RE and animal crossing -b
I would have picked Kingdom Hearts over MH3G seeing as how the latter isn't even confirmed for release outside of Japan while the former is. And given how Capcom's been with localizations as of late (Ace Attorney Investigations 2, Monster Hunter Portable 3rd HD) I wouldn't place too much stock in it coming out of Japan. Even if the KH series isn't anyone's personal cup of tea, I'd still say it's more qualified for a 3DS 2012 list than MH3G is at this point.
@Shadowkaby Nintendo's never mentioned Pikmin 3D, but Wii U's getting Pikmin 3, so that's good. As for Metroid... well, you never know.
De Blob 2 and A Boy and His Blob are being overlooked! I loved both of their Wii releases!
...and what about a Little King's Story sequel?
Where's the love for Theatrhythm: Final Fantasy? >8C
mark my words... Fzero will be on Wii U before the 3DS
tekken 3D for me, but everything ekse is a bit meh!!! for my liking.
OH, GAWD YES!! GIVE ME RESIDENT EVIL REVELATIONS DEMO< NOW!!
I mean... Please can I have a Resident Evil: Revelations demo, Nintendo?
Paper Mario & Heroes of Ruin are the ones for me.
On a side note, I love people listing games in the comments that don't even officially exist.
@43 Ssshhhhhh!
Dont speak the truth - the fans will eat you!
Tekken is probably my most anticipated title of 2012. 60fps 3D awesome fighting goodness
Animal Crossing is my most anticipated. I'm also excited for Harvest Moon, but that won't see a NA release until 2013 at the earliest.
I can't wait for Animal Crossing 3DS and hopefully the ability to download GBA games
Didn't Monster Hunter 3 come out in 2010? >_>
paper mario, animal crossing, and harvest moon: lands origin (or what ever the heck they decide to call it)
Excited for all except the bottom 3, plus you forgot KHDDD although I bet loads of people have probably already said that! Can't wait for 2012, tons of great games and the launch of the Wii U! I'm gonna need some money...
Super Smash Bros!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Probably wont happen til 2014, but i still want it!
Kid Icarus, Paper Mario (hopefully this year), possibly Luigi's Mansion 2 (is that just a guess it's coming this year?), and possibly MH3G (if it comes out here). Need to look into the last two a bit more before I decide, but if it's a yes for all of them that's more games than last year. Not bad if you ask me. (Last year I got OoT and MK7, but I'll eventually be getting SM3DL).
ANIMALCROSSINGANIMALCROSSING
i dont need anything else after that lol xD
No Ace Attorney VS Professor Layton?
You can keep your mask of miracle.
@52 the deblob studio closed and little king's story sequel is already announced for psvita
That rhythm thing looks pretty fun, since I'm a music geek.
-Paper Mario-
-Luigi's Mansion 2-
-Kingdom Hearts DDD-
-Prof Layton v Phoenix Wright-
and to a lesser extent,
-Resident Evil-
These are what I am waiting for the most. There is not that much I wouldn't do to have them. The wait is killing me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Kingdom Hearts 3D?!?!?!
The games in my list:
-Pokemon Gray, hope this is what recent press release said.
-Professer Layton vs Phoenix Wright, hope there will be NA version
-999 Successer, hope there will be NA version on 3DS soon, with a English name easy to speak and remember
-Paper Mario
-Tales of Abyss
-Fire Emblem, if there is NA version
And also some japanese titles that seem to be no way to have their NA version.
It seems that the biggest problem for me is that I don't know whether the games I like will be available in US.
Good to see someone else is interested in Tales of the Abyss. The more people that get that game, the more likely we are to see more portable entries in the series.
Why do you put 'To be continued' as release-date? That doesn't make any sense IMO.. Should just be 'To be announced' a.k.a. TBA.
TBC: To Be Confirmed? Or maybe it's just a typo, since I see one of them has a TBA date...
Kid icarus uprising: yes, but better make the game fun or else it will just be another rail shooter ›.›
Monster hunter Tri G: Yes, but its an updated port that probably wont come to NA.
Paper mario: Maybe, but we still have next to zero details on it.
Keiji Inafune's King of Pirates!
The E3 2011 Paper Mario Trailer wasn't enough for you guys?
Tekken next month. And Kingdom Hearts sometime in 2012.
Paper Mario and Monster Hunter. Get here.
Can't wait for Resident Evil, Paper Mario, Kingdom Hearts, and Kid Icarus.
@75 You sure like your RPGs.
I'll be grabbing Kid Icarus and Tekken over the next couple of months.
3DS is getting A LOT of good games. I'm looking forward to the systems future!
Definitely hoping we get a new Pokemon RPG.
My 300 hours need to pass on to another game.
Next Level Games made the amazing Wii version of Punch-Out. This is why I have high expectations for Luigi's Mansion 2. They beat my unbelievably high expectations once. They can do it again.
@79: Yeah, guess 'to be confirmed' is what they mean, still I think TBA is a much better way of putting it, since 'to be confirmed' would make it seem like the game hasn't even been confirmed for release yet, while 'to be announced' means the release hasn't been announced yet. Ah well what ever, it's not like it's my site (which is why I said 'IMO' ).
EDIT: Unless they mean it hasn't been confirmed for a 2012 release.
MGS3 has always had first person aiming, silly
Im surprised that no one has commented @James (43) I guess no one wants to be banned, or not a lot of people REALLY care about the series like James likes Sonic Edit: By the way I really dont care James doesn't like Kingdom Hearts, Im neutral in the series. Also is Kid Icarus Uprising supporting the Circle Pad Pro (CPP)? Because that is my only reason for getting it outside of Smash Bros for Z and C-stick (I used gamecube controller in Brawl) and a wii u controller. 2 screens, 2 circle pads zl,zr, all the same buttons, its bound to happen
I spent most of 2011 bashing Nintendo for a lot of stupid stuff they did, but they are the company that introduced me to gaming and I have to give credit where credit is due, after the rough start the 3DS finished 2011 strong and 2012 looks awesome. Resident Evil: Revelations and Luigi's Mansion 2 are among my most anticipated games for any system.
Here are some more awesome games you missed:
Kingdom Hearts 3D (Releases on March in Japan, probably coming later here)
Tekken 3D Prime Edition
Mario Tennis
Bravely Default: Flying Fairy
Tales of Abyss
Rayman Origins
Fire Emblem: Awakening
Theatrhythm Final Fantasy
I also look forward for announcements on:
Pokemon Gray
Super Smash Bros. GO!!
Professor Layton vs Ace Attorney
Advance Wars: New World
Wario Ware Tricked
The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Future
Metroid Dread
Sonic DImensions
I'd like to second kingdom hearts dream drop distance.
Games that I'm looking forward to this year that hasn't been listed:
The New Zelda game.
Fire emblem: Awakening
Kingdom Hearts 3D
Rune Factory
Also excited to see what new games will be announced this year.
nice. can't wait for this games to come out. my wallet is going to be empty again.
I want KI, Luigi's Mansion, RE:R, and AC
This is Nintendo right now
And me too.
Lego Cities.
I know you guys are thinking why? Here are the only 2 answers I need.
It is developed by traveler's tales. And is published by Nintendo.
Edit Also they are making a Lego Cities for Wii u so there might be some 3DS and Wii u compadibility.
Tekken 3D Prime should be on this list. Anyways, These are the main 5 3DS games that I want- Tekken, Resident Evil, Metal Gear Soild 3D, Professor Layton, and Monster Hunter 4.
Man less than a month before RE, and I can't wait.
Also want more news on MGS 3D. That game looks awesome but I didn't like what I played of the PS2 game much, so we'll have to see.
I'm surprised how many people here declare that no games on this list interests them, and with an attitude to boot. But, hey, that's the Internet for you! There is not a single game on this list that doesn't not interest me to some degree. I'm looking forward to Paper Mario 3D and Professor Layton the most. Professor Layton vs. Ace Attorney was THE biggest reason I got a 3DS in the first place, and I hope it'll reach the states. And despite being described as "rubbish," I'm excited for Kingdom Hearts 3D, not on this list.
I'm done being opinionated for now.
I'm looking forward to Pokemon Gray, Fire Emblem, Style Savvy, Animal Crossing, Paper Mario, Bravely Default, Professor Layton and Kingdom Hearts.
Most excited for RE:Revelations and Luigi’s Manskin 2 (like that, PETA ? ), only slightly less for Rhythm Thief.
But of course I still hope the other games mentioned will turn out great. I’m least excited about Mask Of Miracle since it will most likely be nothing more and nothing less! than the typical good yearly entry. (Probably still getting it sooner or later though.) Now Professor Layton vs. Phoenix Wright is an entirely different story and I’m anticipating it just as much as RE:R and LM2.
As much as I respect and admire the real-time-nature of Animal Crossing games that’s just not for me.
Other hopefuls 2012: Contra 3D, Mario Tennis, World Rally Championship 2011 (the title makes me anxious that this might never see the light of day though) and a good price for BIT.TRIP SAGA and Rayman Origins.
Please come to the West: Fantasy Life, Rodea the Sky Soldier, Bravely Default Edit:, Beyond the Labyrinth
European release dates for these please: Centipede: Infestation, Nano Assault, Williams Pinball Collection
these are a LOT of great games.Wow. Strong year. Best console out there in terms of expected games for sure.
What about Mario tennis and the London 2012 olympics?
@106, same here.. I just want pushmo and theres nothing else that fits into my intrest. I would chose to let (retro)nintendo to work more on mario kart 7 than to have it released early.
I'm one of the very few who's not excited about this lineup. Looking forward for a little news on new 3DS Zelda which has been confirmed to be in development and maybe a few new Nintendo IP's.
My SweetHeart!!!!!!!! So I this what the future holds. It is a very bright future I think I need my Sunglasses. LoL. Scan my QR Code get your self fimiliarize with me.
The fact that we picked ten strong upcoming 3DS games, and you guys can name so many more, suggests to me 3DS could have an even better year than 2011.
How about The World Ends With You sequel?
If that were actually a real game, sure.
@James well as long as more of the quality games keep coming for the 3DS, it'll have a great 2012. and don't forget, we're going to expect even more surprises for the console in terms of games in this year's E3.
not just this lot.
I'm looking to pick up OoT3D, SM3DL a week from Sunday if all goes accordingly, although I don't have a 3DS just yet. I am doing so because that way I know I have the games ready to play when I get my tax return and finally going to go get a 3ds and idc what color etc.....As for top 2012 titles; Paper mario, Luigi's Mansion 2, and Resident Evil Revalations look to be what I'm highly interested in...possibly MK7 to, but SNES, and DD were the main 2 I enjoyed most so we'll see....
...and, of course, the new Zelda exclusive...what that is of course...I'd like to see a MM sequal, or a WW....but a TRUE sequal, not a re-release unless its to push sales as a nice little bonus...great games yes, but a zelda we have NEVER played yet would be awesome!
Fire emblem 3d, how dare you not put that one on the list.
What about Super Smash Bros. Universe? I'd love to hear something about that! I know it won't come out for like 2+ years (considering they haven't started production), but any information would appease my appetite.
There comming lots of good games to the 3DS i`m waiting ar Kid icarus!
Animal Crossing <3
I fell in love with this game series with Wild World, and it's true: It's near-perfect. I can't wait to play it and do whatever I want on my own town while listening these nice melodies :3
I'm literally counting down the days until Kid Icarus: Uprising comes out!! I've downloaded the preview on my 3ds, put the box art as my desktop's background, and even got the original Kid Icarus on Wii so I can get ready before the release! Maybe I am a little too obsessed... Oh well
I was on Wal-Mart.com and Gamestop.com and it said Luigi's Mansion 2 is coming out NEXT month???? Any comfirmed truth behind this?
Sega seriously?
I saw the trailer to Rhythm Thief and the Emperor's Treasure and to me it looks good, but why couldn't Sega just make another Space Channel 5?
I would completely prefer that than Rhythm Thief.
@112 In Nintendo Power the developer said he would want to make a sequel to the world ends with you, not that he is...
I notice u left out kingdom hearts ddd and honestly i'm glad u did. i know ur takin a lot of flak for it but really imo 358/2 days started killing the series and re:coded delivered the final blow. the only way to resurrect it is to bring rosa back. i weep for the death of the best thing to come from square enix since they killed final fantasy. that's kinda the trend with squaresoft ever since they merged with enix. square enix kills a great series, everyone continues to hype new installments, refusing to admit the series is dead, finally one comes out that's so bad that noone can deny its suckhood, and square enix continues to make unwanted sequels. they start a brilliant new series and repeat, working faster this time. also u forgot to mention the mother game I'm praying to god gets made. and the majora's mask remake i'm praying to god gets made.
@Chronicler As this article is about the biggest games of 2012 it would just get everyone's hopes up to put Smash Bros. on it
@Saki-Slash Nope, no truth. Likely to be an April/May release for that one.
Also, if everyone could stop saying "you forgot to include this game that hasn't been announced yet", that'd be great, thanks
RE: Revelations, Paper Mario, Lugi's Mansion 2. Nuff said.
Please.... please.... please....... let Culdcept 3DS come out here in the US. I loved the PS2 version.
Always wanted to play a Luigi's mansion game
I'm getting animal crossing and luigis mansion2 How about Pokemon? the 3d pokedex must have a purpose.
I'm looking forward to Luigi's Mansion 2, Paper Mario, Resident Evil: Revelations, Tekken 3D, Tales of the Abyss (US release), Heroes of Ruin, Kingdom Hearts: DDD, Kid Icarus: Uprising, Mario Tennis, Metal Gear Solid 3D, Monster Hunter (Tri-G, 4 or both), Mutant Mudds, and I still have yet to pick up Mario Kart, so it will be a busy year for me.
I want Luigi's Mansion 2 ! They should have a guitar hero game on the 3DS! it would look so cool. And Super Mario Galaxy! And how about a Naruto game? They should have a bundle that includes the Purple 3Ds with the game Imagine Fashion Designer. It would be a huge hit! And when is flipnote memo comming out!?!?!?!! Lol i have tons of ideas XD oh and they should have Grand theft Auto and Call of Duty games 2!
GameStop told me back in June 2011 that Paper Mario and Luigi's Mansion (well, one of them, anyway) was coming out January 2nd. What a load of bull-fertilizer!
I'm definitely getting Paper Mario day one. Luigi's Mansion 2, I may wait a while on that one.
I'm really looking forward to: Paper Mario, Luigi Mansion, Animal Crossing, Monster Hunter, and Layton in 2012!
For the people who keep saying Kingdom Hearts should be on this list, do you honestly believe its going to be out this year? Its going to take at least a year to translate. i would say the earliest we would see it is mid-2013.
@MomoTaro Square Enix confirmed it'll be released in 2012
