Will you be green around the gills?
Ryan Reynolds is getting his chance to show the world he can do superheroes with the upcoming Green Lantern movie, and developer Griptonite is hoping to show it can do the same with the 3DS release Green Lantern: Rise of the Manhunters.
We have the first trailer below, showing the game's expected blend of platforming, fighting and superpowers. Check it out underneath these very words, and start predicting review scores in the comments thread at the bottom.

The bottom screen had me hoping for a Neuroshima Hex-inspired strategy game. The top screen... not so much.

It says tba for the eu release, sureley its coming out on the 10th June like the wii and DS versions if all three are out on the same day in America.

Looks like your standard 2D side-scrolling platformer ("in 3D") based on a super-hero series. Bit like the Ben 10 series platformers actually. Might not be bad as the Ben 10 one's aren't bad themsleves, but looks inessential.

@9. 6ch6rs6:. Green Lantern is one of the greatest heroes in the comic universe, one of the most prominent legacy heroes, and wielder of one of the most powerful weapons ever conceived. What's Asterix and Obelix's excuse? =P
It looks a lot like Griptonite's Iron Man 2 game for DS. You can run around or fly around. Griptonite makes quality side scrollers. Now for $40, you might want an exceptional one. I'd wait for the reviews. Now, if you're a true GL fan, then you'd better pre-order it or lose your street cred.
